What are the best pillow wraps for horses? My horse Milo ripped off his wraps at the last horse show and is in need of some new ones. We already have the standing wraps, but we need good pillow wraps - the ones that he ripped tended to bunch up whilst wrapping - we need them for trailer rides, and to wear at night during horse shows to prevent swelling and to provide support. Any suggestions? Thanks for your answer.. or answers, I guess, but that one wasn't really an answer. Anyways, I don't like to use shipping boots - one, because my horse Milo is an incredibly strange imported horse that thinks anything that he's not used to is NOT okay. Therefore I think he'd be more than opposed to shipping boots and would kick (more than he already does) throughout the entire ride, which is usually only 45 minutes-4 hours, not all day. Also, I've thought about poultice, but you'd have to get there super early and wash it off and wait for his legs to dry before putting his boots/wraps on and what not. Plus, the footing isn't too terribly bad where we show, it's just that we want extra protection for them against swelling so they can be in top form the next day.
